Primate Escape!

(working title...)

Santa Clause has sent you on a very special mission for being such a good boy. You are going to be dropped into the jungles of Rwanda to capture some naughty monkeys that have escaped his workshop. The monkeys were supposed to be turned into little monkey statues, but the monkeys had other plans! Just don't think about the plot too much because I'm making it up as I'm typing out this description.

GOAL

• Capture all the monkeys
• Collect all the presents
• Find all the secret gorillas

Gamepads don't work unfortunately, mouse and keyboard only.

CONTROLS

• Left Click to swing net --> hold and use WASD to spin
• Right Click to use Slingshot --> shoot monkeys to temporarily stun them
• Space to jump
• hold right click in the air to use Helicopter toy for gliding

Bugs / Notes

I had limited time to work on this game during the jam so I couldn't properly test and adjust the physics of the player controller. Because of this it's pretty easy to clip through some walls. You can also bunnyhop and reach very high speeds which will almost definitely clip you through a wall so I don't recommend it.

Another annoying bug is that monkeys can see and hit you with rocks through walls. This is another thing I didn't have time to fix which makes the last section particularly annoying.
